45 Journey of the will

MANXは旅の本であり、旅の楽しみや旅先の文化を紹介する事を目的とした本です。同時に人と人の交流を紹介する本でもあります。しかし、これらを一つにまとめるのは容易ではありません。そこで、人に関するコンテンツはそれぞれ独立した形で製作する事にしました。その本のメインタイトルはmanxです。大文字と小文字の表記の違いで、同じ名前じゃないか！　その通りです。ですが、そこに込められた思いは異なります。 manxは人の行動や理念、その思いを紹介する事をコンセプトにしています。このコンセプトは、何らかの形で、そして国籍も性別も問わず、人の持つGood　Spiritや文化が継承される事を期待して生まれたものです。　　　　このコンセプトが誕生する背景にはやはりmanxが大きく影響しています。意味がわからない？　そう感じられる方もいるでしょう。なので、その理由を明確にしたいと思います。　　私は1985以来、この島の人たちと触れ合い、人生における大切な事の多くを学ばせてもらいました。その島の名はISLE OF MAN 現在はISLE OF MANというのが正式名称になっていますが、この島は本来ELAN VANNINという名前です。　　そして、ここに住む人達をmanxと言います。現在では3代続いていれば、それはGood manxであるとも言われています。ここには、この島で生まれたmanxもいれば、他所で生まれ育ち、自ら希望してmanx になりに来た初代もいるのです。しかし、代々続くmanxも、自ら希望してmanxになりに来た初代の人でも共通する事が三つあります。 manxは、この島の環境をとても深く愛している事。 manxは、友達や来島者をとても大切にする事。そして、この島に住む人たちにはmanx Spiritが継承されている事です。何よりもそれが素晴らしいと強く感じています。 Spiritに形はありません。目には見えにくいものです。しかし、それは確実に行動に現れるものでもあると思います。　　　　個人的な見解かもしれませんが、Spiritは継承されにくい時代になっていると感じる事がとても多くなってきました。だからこそ、この名前を採用したかったのです。この名前にあやかる事で、国籍も性別も年齢も問わず、少しでも人にあるスピリットや文化を守るために必要な知識が広く継承されるようになって欲しい。そんな願いを込めて、manxをスタートさせたいと思います。

Various thing and coincidence overlapped, Pre-TT Classic became close to me.

いろいろな出来事と偶然が重なってPre-TT Classicは自分に近い存在になった。

So, when I offered to give that man some cooperation from myself, I received a pleasant OK.

詳しい話は長くなるので省略するが、とにかくいろいろな出来事と偶然が重なってPre-TT Classicは自分にとって身近で、何か協力したいと思う存在になった。

そこで、ある人に自分から何か協力したいと申し出たところ、快くOKをもらった。

しかし、すぐには決められないという当然の理由でしばらく待っていた。

Such thoughts were intermingled in the head, but I deciding the courage and listen to the content of the sponsorship, you can realize that it is realistic content and it can be dealt with enough by individuals It was even individuals I made.

期待と不安がひとつになった状態で数週間。

そして、遂に協力の内容が明らかになった。

協賛して欲しい！　

俺に協賛なんて出来るのか？

そんな思いが頭の中でせめぎ合っていたが、いざ腹を括って話を聞いてみると、とーっても現実的な内容で、個人でも十分に対応可能なものだった。

Besides that, it was a sponsorship with a privilege that is very happy.

I applied for sponsorship on the spot without hesitation and became the first sponsors to commemorate.

I decided to sidecar class to sponsor.

それに加えて、と〜〜〜っても嬉しい特典付きの協賛だった。

期待以上だっただけで、不安を持つ必要なんてまったくない内容だ。

｢いや〜こんな美味しい協賛でいいんですか？｣と確認すると、｢今回初めての試みだし、日本人にも楽しんでもらわないと発展しないから、喜んで協賛してもらって、協賛して喜んでもらえれば！｣という説明がされた。

俺は迷わずその場で協賛を申し込んで、記念すべき一人目の協賛者になった。
協賛するのはサイドカーのクラスに決めた。

Well if I think about it, it is natural that I apply on the spot because I am a volunteered to cooperate.
And, it felt like I was doing something really good and I felt very profitable.
The champions who won the Pre-TT Classic sidecar class is are happy, and happy to the Southern100 committee and local people of Isle of Man, I am also very happy.

It is sponsorship to Pre-TT Classic that I realized for the first time that this kind of feeling I get now is called "WIN WIN".
And this sponsorship was the first sponsorship of my life.

まぁ考えてみれば、自分が言い出しっぺなので、その場で申込をして当然ではあるのだが、なんだか凄くいい事をした気になったし、凄く得した気になった。

Pre-TT Classicのサイドカークラスで優勝したチャンピオン達が喜んでくれて、SOUTHERN100委員会やマン島の地元の人に喜んでもらえて、俺も凄く嬉しい。

こういうのを”WIN-WIN”って言うんだろうなぁ〜と初めて実感したのが、Pre-TT Classicへの協賛であり、人生初の協賛になった。

As a next step, I just to go to Pre-TT Classic!
I am full of such feelings.

次はどんな形でもPre-TT Classicに行くしかないな！
と、そんな気持ちでいっぱいになった。
